If you think you are experiencing gastroenteritis due to exposure to norovirus be sure to drink plenty of fluids. Dehydration can become so sever that hospitalization may be required. Most symptoms of gastroenteritis will subside in one to three days. If symptoms persist call your doctor. Symptoms can include; diarrhea, comiting, nausea, stomach pain, fever, headache, and body aches. Symptoms of dehydration include decrease in urination, dry mouth and throat, and feeling dizzy when standing up.
